The Best Feelings

These are just a few of the best feelings (in my opinion) that make my heart smile when they happen. Now you may be expecting me to say "being wrapped up in the one I love's arms" or "being told you're valued." Like yeah those feelings are cool, but these feelings, man, not much tops these.
Getting into a hot car after eating in a cold restaurant.
I'm usually cold anyways, but restaurants tend to keep the temp real low, so getting into that warm car with a belly full of good food feels just like getting wrapped up in a warm, fuzzy blanket.
Stepping into the movie theater and smelling the popcorn.
You're already so excited to see this new movie, but on top of it you have an excuse to eat candy and movie theater popcorn. PRO TIP: Save some of that popcorn for the next day, because day old, cold movie theater popcorn is 10x better than fresh popcorn I don't know why, I don't make the rules, but it's seriously amazing. Even Alex agrees with me.

Freshly shaved legs on bedsheets.
I feel like virtually every girl LOVES this feeling. Everything just feels so soft and smooth and silky. Plus you just shaved your legs so you don't have to do it for another few days or so - that's truly the bliss of it.
Showering before bed.
I've always showered in the morning because honestly I don't know how to deal with my frizzy, curly hair if I don't. During the summer though, I shower at night because I work all day out in the sun - aka lots of sunscreen and sweat. Jumping in the shower and feeling so clean and fresh right before falling asleep just makes me so dang happy.
Crawling into bed at the end of the day and watching your favorite show.
You get through another day, all your work is done, and you finally get to crawl back into your bed. You turn on your favorite show - for me it's either watching YouTube or Vampire Diaries - and you just get to sit all cozy and forget your worries. Truly one of my favorite things.
Sleeping in your own bed after a trip.
There is nothing quite like coming home, exhausted from the trip's adventures, and falling fast asleep in your own bed.

Feeling the sun on your skin.
Like I mentioned earlier, I'm usually cold, so the warmth from the sun is my best friend. You know that feeling, where you're sitting outside, eyes closed, the smell of fresh air and grass, and you can physically feel the sun hugging you? Your shoulders are warm to the touch, and you can feel the heat sinking into your body. I love it.
And those little feelings turn normal days into great days.
Just Julia :)
